Do I have to be a photographer?

No! You do not have to be a photographer or even remotely interested in photography in order to travel with Photo Tours & Travel.

What about my travel dates?

You can start and finish your vacation whenever you like. Just let us know your preferred or expected dates of travel and we will develop the best itinerary for you.

Are there discounts?

Yes. There are a few ways to get a discount on your vacation.

Group discounts

Most groups receive discounted prices starting with 6 travelers or more.

Civil Servant

If you work as a teacher, social worker, firefighter, or police officer we will discount your vacation.

Promotional rates

Often times when you receive an itinerary there will be a promotional price offer, the promotion is usually time oriented so confirm your booking before the specified date and you will receive your discount.

What are my payment options?

There are 3 payment options.

Bank Invoice or Bank Transfer

There is a 5% discount for paying via bank transfer or bank invoice. Our transactions are processed through Wells Fargo Bank or Bank of America.

Credit Card

We do accept credit card payments via Wells Fargo and Pay Pal. Additional fees apply.

Do I need Travel Insurance?

Yes! Your vacation is an investment of time and money. We encourage all of our clients to purchase travel insurance to protect their investment. We hope that your entire vacation goes without incident or interruption but as you know - things happen. These things can range from natural disasters such as the mudslides that closed Machu Picchu from January - April 2010; or unexpected delays and changes in flights – international or domestic.

What are the Terms & Conditions?

Cancellation by you

Should the client wish to cancel, cancellation charges will be imposed. Charges are calculated from the day written notification is received by Photo Tours and Travel.
The charges are shown below:
1. 60 and more days before departure: retention of deposit
2. 59 to 30 days before departure: 75% of total price
3. 29 days to 14 days before departure: 90% of total price
4. Less than 14 days: 100% of price

Exceptions may exist depending on client circumstances as well as cost that are refunded to Photo Tours & Travel from suppliers. Cancelations for cruises, safaris, and speciality tours have stricter cancelation restrictions and are all subject to forfeit of total tour price.
